At United Way, we mobilize the caring power of our community so that everyone can thrive, and this year, we set an ambitious goal: raise $5.2 million for the United Way Community Fund to support our neighbors and strengthen lives across Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Liberty, and Long counties. Contributions to the Community Fund allow United Way to: 1. invest in trusted nonprofits across our region by providing grants that help deliver critical services to those who need them most 2. provide direct services where there are gaps through United Way's 211 Information & Referral Service and county service centers 3. advance volunteerism by connecting individuals to causes that strengthen our community.
